Cari amici ed ascoltatori......, Mop Mop, all'anagrafe Andrea Benini (Cesena, 14 marzo 1977), è un musicista e produttore discografico italiano di musica jazz, funk con un edge particolarmente rivolto al clubbing. Si esibisce dal vivo con la sua banda, il "Mop Mop Combo" , e come DJ in tutto il Mondo. I Mop Mop ottengono il riconoscimento internazionale nel 2012 come parte della colonna sonora del film To Rome with Love  diretto dal regista statunitense Woody Allen.Il singolo dei Mop Mop "Run Around" che vede come ospiti la leggenda del Funk Fred Wesley al trombone e Anthony Joseph alla voce, è stato premiato come "Best Dancefloor Jazz track of 2013" secondo la "Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA)" Germania. Italian gipsy jazz

Dear friends and listeners.....this band formed in Turin Italy in 2001; their music comes from the Gypsy Manouche tradition, an original music born in France in 1930’s, after Django Reinhardt’s great success, mixing American jazz with French waltz musette and Tzigane dances.

Manomanouche try to stay as close as possible to the Gypsy Jazz original sound, putting great care in the choice of their instruments; their music is enthralling, adding a touch of Italian warmth to this Manouche strange brew.

Manomanouche’s repertory is made of Django’s tunes, plus many originals, some standards, some waltzes and some hidden gems from the past.

All the musicians have an important personal history before Manomanouche, and Touche an Pitzianti are longtime Paolo Conte’s collaborators.

Manomanouche play about 110 concerts a year; they play Italy, France, Germany and Switzerland, and Jazz Festivals and Manouche Festivals all around Europe; they also manage every September in Turin the International Django Reinhardt Festival of Jazz Manouche.This "Amore a prima vista" (Love at first sight) is a  recording from a live performance in Matera Italy.....HERE .....zero 

Piccoli soul man crescono

Cari amici ed ascoltatori.....nuova proposta nel campo del soul e R&B di provenienza italica, quindi non abbiamo solo il bravo Mario Biondi; lui è Luca Ronka (vero nome Luca Roncadin n.d.r.) e questo è il suo "soul man", album che ha raggiunto il primo posto nelle chart di amazon nel campo R&B. Nato in Friuli ad Udine ha percorso una lunga gavetta partendo dall'inizio degli anni 90' sempre con un occhio al R&B (probabilmente per "colpa" dei Blues Bros.), molte compartecipazioni come side man, vedi la band di Elisa, ma anche con  Tullio De Piscopo, Nino Buonocore, Alessandro Haber ed altri ancora. Il contratto con la Hidra Music di Salerno gli permette di uscire, il 24-05-2015 con questo suo primo lavoro che noi andiamo ad apprezzare grazie al buon gigismooth, enjoy...... QUI ....zero

Still groove italian way

Dear friends and listeners....under the brand S-Tone Inc.  there is multi-instrumentalist jazz musician Stefano Tirone Originating from Milan, Italy, Tirone has been a professional musician for over twenty years. The first official S-tone Inc. recording was released in 1992 during the acid jazz era, a formative time for Tirone, who was heavily influenced by the combination of soul, jazz and Latin rhythms of the period.  This "Moon in libra" was out on April 2009 for Schema Rec. a very interesting little italian label. Still Italian Groove

Dear friends and listeners....Modulo5 is another interesting Italian project born in mid-2003 from an a idea of DJ Dave Masoch with Paolo "Apollo" Negri, who joint the project in 2006 , a well know and considered the best  italian hammondist. Dave is the co-founder (with DJ Michael Myers) of Masoch Club Entertainment (1998); composer of anonymous compilation for Plastic Records (2001), and in the years following has been responsible for a series compilations including “Stasera Shake" Vol.1 & Vol.2 and Boss-A-Tone Records which is associated to the well known Misty Lane label. Dave also coordinated and managed the Hipster Expo 60s Festival in Triest (Italy) from 2001 to 2003.Enjoy  Modulo 5's "Soundsational Movements"  HERE ..zero

Dear friends and listeners....Mario Biondi is a lighting gem in italian and european music panorama.This post is dedicated to all that guys, not european, who don't know this sicilian guy with a black soul....maybe only for music distribution myopy.....you know the mainstream is very different from a country to another. But this guy claims to be knowed; Mario Biondi’s main quality, that makes him a natural talent, is his voice. When you hear his voice, you can recognise it. It is warm, deep and strong. Through his voice you can feel the warmth of his country, Italy, mixed with the traditional and international soul-jazz sound.

He is developing a lot of new projects and collaborations with international and Italian artists . I wish him good luck for his career and I hope people from all over the world will his great talent. Well, it's time for groove and  HERE  you can enjoy his last work, out on May 5 2015....zero

Cari amici ed ascoltatori.......una gemma misconosciuta dal passato musicale italiano, che farà felici i tanti amanti di questo genere sono i Track.Creati dagli ex Nuova Idea Belloni e Siani dopo lo scioglimento del loro gruppo, i Track sono stati una specie di "divertissement" per gli ottimi ed esperti musicisti che ne hanno fatto parte.
Il gruppo comprendeva anche un cantante soprannominato Cacao (contrariamente a quanto si credeva non è Dario Guidotti dei Jumbo) ed il bassista Guido Guglielminetti, esperto sessionman, con la collaborazione esterna del tastierista dei Giganti, Checco Marsella.
Il loro unico album, intitolato Track rock, uscì nel 1974 per la Ariston con nove brani, tutti in inglese, tra i quali delle cover di Long train running dei Doobie Brothers e di Caroline degli Status Quo.
La maggior parte dell'album spazia dal rock'n'roll al boogie, ed il brano più progressivo è uno strumentale dal titolo...Track.
Belloni pubblicò un singolo da solo subito dopo l'uscita di questo album nel 1974, poi entrò nei New Trolls, per il loro LP Concerto grosso n.2, suonando poi con Nico Di Palo nel suo gruppo Il Mito Dei New Trolls......enjoy ....QUI ... zero
