near the north pole

Dear friends and listeners....Humus is the northernmost soul duo of the world.
Akanuke is originally from the Helsinki suburbs and Anahata hails from the Arctic Circle. Producer Akanuke comes from a hip-hop background while vocalist Anahata boasts jazz roots. Together, Humus brings a joining synergy of the best of both worlds with their common passion for good music.
Humus started making music in 2009, originally sung in Finnish but changed to English in 2011. After this change, Humus began receiving growing international interest.
Music is not the only form of art in which Humus is active. Humus makes and films their own videos, including a 30-minute musical film, which has been screened in several film festivals in Finland. Akanuke directed the film and Anahata played the main role. Enjoy ....HERE  Zero

From USA

Fort Knox Five is an outfit based in Washington, DC has flown all over the globe, from the Shambhala Music Festival in British Columbia to the Volt Festival in Hungary to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Across 5 continents and 30 countries, theyve formed deep musical relationships with some of their favorite vocalists and musicians, some of whom are featured on Pressurize the Cabin. Mustafa Akbar, a longtime friend of Fort Knox Five, is featured on two electro-funk tracks that will be lighting up dance floors worldwide, Whatcha Gonna Do and Keep it Poppin. Another DC favorite, Flex Mathews, is also featured on two tracks; his party-rocking lyrics are a perfect fit with the Fort Knox Five funk. Funk is the common denominator, tying it all together, but the grooves on this exciting new artist album range from Hip-Hop to Disco to Electro to Latin.....enjoy HERE ..zero

Buon anno nuovo
